DESCRIPTION:Dear Parents\,\nOn 13 June\, we are holding an Open Day at our school.\nOn this day\, pupils\, parents\, and guests will be able to attend open lessons. One adult may accompany each child. Attendance at all trial lessons on this day is free of charge. Registration is open until 11 June.\nNew Subjects and Teachers (starting in September)\nRegistration for open lessons in the new subjects is available here:https://forms.gle/nPrFoFjEg57jdGxi9\nCourse: The World Around Us\nTeacher: Natalia Davidenko\nAge: 6–9 years\nRoom: G2\nOpen lesson on 13 June at 12.00 & 13.00: “The Living World of Nature. An Invisible ‘Magical’ World”\nDuring the lesson\, children will learn how living things differ from non-living things\, what unites all living organisms\, and what makes them so diverse. We will begin exploring the world of microorganisms — ancient and invisible inhabitants of our planet\, without which life on Earth would be impossible.\nAbout the teacher:\nNatalia Davidenko is a scientist and educator with international experience. She holds a PhD in Chemistry\, graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry at Lomonosov Moscow State University\, and specialises in materials science and biomedicine. She spent many years working as a researcher and lecturer at the University of Cambridge.\nThe course is designed to develop curiosity\, an interest in science\, and an understanding of the world around us in an engaging and accessible way for younger children.\nPiano – Meet Our New Teacher\nWe are delighted to introduce our new piano teacher\, Tatiana Kalmykova.\nThroughout the day\, 20-minute introductory lessons will be available by appointment in the classroom located in Block A opposite the dance studio.\nTatiana is a professional musician with more than 20 years of performing and teaching experience. She graduated from the Gnessin Central Music School and the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. She has performed with leading Russian orchestras\, taught cello and piano\, and directed a choir.\nSince 2023\, she has been living in the United Kingdom and continues her active musical career. Her professionalism and love of music help children develop their abilities and enjoy learning.\nCourse: Journeys into the World of Geography\, Culture and History\nOpen lesson: 13 June\, 11:00\nTeacher: Olga Romanova\nAge: 8–12 years\nRoom: G103\nThis course introduces children to the nature\, geography\, and cultures of the peoples of Eurasia — from the Slavic countries to the Far East.
