On the last day of school before the Christmas break, we had much fun, as usual. At the festive concert, there were performances by a class of toddlers led by Svetlana Boutwood (with a cheerful New Year song), the gymnastics class (coach Olga Romanova), and drama classes taught by Tatiana Lavrentieva and Vida Dagyte.
We enjoyed the production of a Russian fairy tale “Morozko”, performed by children, a part of which was a beautiful Russian folk dance “Metelitsa”, shown by the dance class of Yulia Simon-Neale.
Then, of course, Father Frost and the Snow Maiden paid us a visit and handed out sweet and tasty presents to all the children. To finish the day, there was an elf workshop, lively music and plenty of festive food to enjoy!
