On the 23rd March 2019 we have a very special visitor – a journalist and TV presenter Fyokla Tolstaya, a great-granddaughter of the Russian writer Leo Tolstoy.
Fyokla will visit Russian literature lessons of year 8 and 9 and will talk to the students about Leo Tolstoy’s childhood and family.
This is a great time, as according to our school curriculum students in year 8 are studying now Leo Tolstoy’s novel “Childhood” and year 9 – his short story “After the Ball” and a film about Tolstoy “The story of an Appointment”.
