Thank you to everyone who joined our art tours at the Fitzwilliam Museum on November 2nd and 3rd! We embarked on an incredible journey into the world of ancient civilizations. The children learned how theatre began in Ancient Greece and explored the fascinating portrait art of Ancient Egypt.
We want to commend the children—it was a pleasure to watch them discuss what they learned and share their own knowledge. After the tour, we created our own artifacts: theatrical masks and portraits inspired by Fayum-style paintings.
We were all thrilled, and we believe these joyful, creative trips to the museum will be memorable for the children, with the knowledge they gained sure to be valuable in the future!
Don’t miss our upcoming events. In December, we are preparing an art tour focused on the Ancient East.
Special thanks to our school teachers, Lika Kobzeva and Valentin Rusinov, for leading these wonderful tours!
