At our school last Saturday, we celebrated a bright and heartfelt Maslenitsa!
Yes, we were a little late with the celebration because of the holidays, but we definitely didn’t want to miss this cheerful festival that our children love so much!
We danced lively circle dances, played traditional games, and took part in creative workshops. The kids crafted, laughed, and happily learned about the holiday’s traditions.
And of course, there were lots of pancakes — with jam, honey, and condensed milk! Huge thanks to all the parents who brought their pancakes for our shared feast.
The celebration turned out warm, lively, and joyful.
