We are delighted to tell you about one of our traditions — our Recitation Contest!
We have recently presented prizes — books and certificates — to the participants of our fifth contest. This time, we chose a summer theme: Travel.
Last winter, to mark Ivan Krylov’s birthday, we held a reading of his fables, and the first three contests were dedicated to the seasons of the year.
We already have a wonderful core group of regular participants, and we look forward to welcoming new members to our circle. Join us this autumn!
At the Cambridge Russian School, children study Russian at different levels of proficiency, and everyone is welcome. In our contest, every child receives praise for their efforts, the strengths of each performance are recognised, and we listen to every recitation with pleasure — because we love poetry!
